2023 CHRISTMAS PARADE &

WINDOW DECORATING CONTEST

It’s that time of year again and the Christmas Parade is right around the corner. Register your organization or business in the 2023 Christmas Parade, Dec 2nd at 6pm. Please download the application and fill it out, then email it along with a copy of the auto insurance for the vehicle that will be in the parade, as well as a sketch of the float, to chamber@tehachapi.com. You can also come by the Chamber to fill out an application and submit it same day. Fees are $30 for non-commercial entries and $60 for commercial entries. We can take payments over the phone.

The theme this year is Past, Present, Future. The entries will be judged and winners will receive recognition. We hope to see you soon! If you have any questions, feel free to call the Chamber at 661-822-4180.

If you are a business in town or in the Greater Tehachapi Area, we would love to see your window decorating skills in this year’s Window Decorating Contest. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each community: Tehachapi City, Old Town, Stallion Springs, and the Greater Area. Last year, many businesses went all out with decorating and the streets glowed with the extra cheer. We hope more businesses will want to participate again this year.

This competition is open to businesses and organizations located in the Greater Tehachapi Area. It is free to enter and decorating will need to be completed by December 2nd. The contestants will be judged by a group of residents, a popular vote and a business-to-business vote, and winners will be announced Dec 2nd. Awards will be distributed by Dec 5th.

This year’s theme is Past, Present and Future.

Last day to submit entries is NOV 27 by 5PM.
